Crafted with classic athletic contrast to reinforce its rich running heritage, the Wmns Air Max 1 'Black White Gum' was released July 2018 to hold down Nike's summer line. A white mesh base is overlaid in dark leather save for the side Swoosh logo, which stays on the light side. The visible Max Air unit inspired by designer Tinker Hatfield's visit to the Centré Pompidou in Paris sits under the heel to cushion each step, and the durable outsole is executed in rustic gum rubber.
