With the women’s Air Force 1 ‘Rebel Blue XX,’ the classic court shoe from 1982 takes on a modern look thanks to a team of 14 female Nike designers. Their charter was to create the 1 Reimagined, a collection featuring updates to the Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 1. The AF1 ‘Rebel XX’ flips the shoe’s forward-facing components to the back, where a revised corset lacing system redefines the look and feel of an established Nike silhouette.
