The Vortak 'Lagoon Pulse' is influenced by various Nike footwear models from the distant and recent past. The sock-like structure of the upper is reminiscent of performance running shoes such as the Epic React Flyknit and Free RN, while the outsole takes cues from Nike ACG adventure shoes like the Pocketknife. Released in March, 2018, the Vortak comes in a variety of colors, and includes a no-tie lacing system and full mesh upper.
