adidas celebrated the Superstar 1's 35th anniversary in 2005 by tapping icons from the world of music, fashion and art. Designed by legendary subway graffitist Lee Quinones, this rendition's leather upper is detailed with a photo print and abstract spray paint motifs. Semi-transparent red TPU forms the Three-Stripes and Trefoil heel badge. The artist's signature is revealed through the rubber cupsole's crystal gum tread.
