In 1978, Washington Bullets center Wes Unseld defeated the Seattle Supersonics in a historic NBA final, giving Washington, D.C its first-ever sports championship victory. As an homage to Unseld, Converse released a special edition low runner to commemorate the 1978 Finals. The Star Player Low 'Intangibles' features an Off-White canvas upper with red and blue accents on the star logo, heel tab, midsole, and tongue. As a nod to Unseld’s golden victory, the model also sports gold accents on the midsole and shoelace ring.
