Tennis player Stan Smith won the U.S. Open in 1971, and the adidas Stan Smith sneakers were officially introduced in 1978. Designed by Horst Dassler, son of adidas founder Adi Dassler, the sneaker is constructed of premium Horween leather. This luxe blue and white version features the same clean lines, low-top profile and rubber sole as the original.
