Sneaker Freaker x Gel Kayano Trainer 'Melvin'

Australian sneaker magazine Sneaker Freaker teamed up with ASICS for the Sneaker Freaker x Gel Kayano Trainer ‘Melvin’ in 2014. Boasting Sneaker Freaker’s customary asymmetrical color blocking, the lateral side of the lacing cage features yellow and light grey Tiger stripes, while the medial side comes with black and dark grey Tiger stripes and 3M reflective accents. The sneaker also comes with a suede and mesh upper supported by a neoprene sockliner, while polka dot laces and speckled detailing on the Gel-cushioned sole bring an additional flourish.
