Ronnie Fieg x Gel Mai 'Millitia'

This November 2016 Ronnie Fieg x Gel Mai 'Militia' was created for Kith’s 5th Anniversary and Fieg’s 10th year of ASICS collabs. Released in the late 1990s, the Gel Mai silhouette was one of the first ASICS shoes to move the brand’s signature side panel Tiger Stripes from the side panels to a jeweled logo on the midsole. The Gel Mai also comes with an asymmetrical lacing system, TPU collar suspension, and floating heel counters. Fieg’s ‘Militia’ take features an orange pigskin suede upper with a speckled sand midsole and a gum outsole. It also comes with four additional lace options. The sneaker dropped in a ‘Legends Day’ 6-pack featuring ‘Salmon’ and ‘Militia’ colorways for the Gel-Lyte 3.1, Made in Japan Gel-Lyte 3, and a ‘Salmon’ Gel Mai colorway. Both Gel Mai colorways were limited to 750 pairs each.
