In 2018, adidas announced the brand would only be using recycled plastic products in all its footwear by 2024, and the adidas UltraBoost 4.0 LTD demonstrates that commitment. Coming in an ocean-blue colorway, the knit used in the upper is made from up-cycled plastic found on beaches and in coastal communities, collected as part of the work adidas does with environmental group Parley. The look sits atop a Boost midsole and Continental outsole.
