New Balance takes the 999 silhouette and gives it a monochromatic makeover, featuring a leather build instead of the usual mesh and suede construction. A subtle micro-perforated texture distinguishes the toe box and collar, while the 999’s signature bulky midsole packs ABZORB cushioning, made with a blend of isoprene rubber and proprietary foam materials.
