Industrial Designer Marc Newson teamed up with NikeLab to create this Marc Newson x NikeLab Air VaporMax for Air Max Day in 2017. The first high-top rendition of the VaporMax silhouette, the sock-like design contrasts a Forest Green Flyknit on the upper with vegetable-tanned leather on the Velcro straps and mudguard. Cross stitching on the seams of the leather panels and embossed branding on the heel counter offers a handcrafted touch, creating a unique counterpoint with the futuristic icy VaporMax sole unit underfoot.
