Nike combines the rugged style of outdoor footwear with lightweight performance technology in the Lunar Force 1 Flyknit 'Flax' sneaker, released October 2016. The nubuck and Flyknit hybrid design features Flywire cables wrapped around the midfoot, a high-top collar with ankle strap and trademark Swoosh. Underfoot, Nike use the Lunar Force 1’s Lunarlon cushioning—debuted in 2012—for high-performance support.
