Designed by Jason Petrie, the LeBron 17 'In The Arena' debuted in September 2019 with a new Knitposite material that combines Flyknit with heat-molded yarns for extra structure and marbled coloring. Signature LBJ branding shifts from the previous version's heel and outsole to the tongue, where jagged stitching at the top symbolizes The King's crown. For soft impact protection, the largest Max Air unit for a LeBron shoe occupies the heel while dual Nike Zoom Air units reside in the forefoot.
