2003 saw the release of Outkast’s critically-acclaimed Speakerboxxx/The Love Below double album and LeBron James’ entrance into the NBA. LeBron, inspired by this album, used it as a blueprint for the LeBron 16 Low 'Soundtrack' sneaker. Released in March 2019, the shoe is fitted with a mesh upper. Accented with two-tone insoles and remixed LeBron logos on the suede heel patch, these details are nods to the hip-hop duo’s iconic dual-album artwork.
