Nike Basketball and Kobe Bryant added the Kobe A.D. Mid ‘Pure Platinum’ sneaker to their lineup in 2018. The platinum upper is decorated with tonal detailing and a metallic Swoosh. The sneaker incorporates special symbols representing the milestones of Kobe’s career: the athlete's signature on both tongues, 16 Laker’s championship trophies illustrated on the left heel counter, and Roman Numerals representing Kobe's five finals wins seen under the tongue on the right foot.
