Inspired by Kevin Durant’s scoring bursts, the Nike KD 7 ‘Calm Before the Storm’ features a grey and pink color scheme intended to evoke the impression of an impending storm on the horizon. Personal design notes include Durant’s home state of Maryland embedded on the outsole, with the names of influential family members inscribed on the shoe’s adjustable forefoot strap.
