The Nike KD 5 Elite 'Playoffs Home' made its debut on the court during the 2013 NBA Playoffs on the feet of Kevin Durant. The shoe was released to the public a few weeks later, in May, with a colorway of white, Tour Yellow and Photo Blue—a reference to Durant's team at the time, the Oklahoma City Thunder. The yellow in particular pops on this sneaker, featured on the Flywire strands, outsole, lining and Swoosh, while the midsole and tongue are in blue.
