Debuting on the feet of Gordon Hayward during a December 2019 game at Boston’s TD Garden, the Anta GH 1 ‘Barbershop’ draws inspiration from the athlete’s neatly kept signature hairstyle. The upper, built with a blend of black textile and suede, features vintage embroidery on each side panel. Additional details include Hayward’s well-coiffed profile on the tongue, barbershop pole detailing on the heel, and a comb-and-shears emblem on the interior tongue.
