The 1966 Gazelle sneaker drew influence from previous adidas’ shoes. At the time, the color of the silhouette indicated the design purpose of the shoe; the Gazelle Blue was made for training. Modeled after the 1991 reboot, the adidas Gazelle 'Collegiate Royal' sneaker blends heritage design with modern style. Covered in a blue suede similar to the original, the upper is accented with Gazelle signatures: metallic ‘Gazelle’ branding and a molded Trefoil logo on tongue.
