Taking inspiration from the art of Frida Kahlo, the Vans Frida Kahlo x OG Authentic LX 'Watermelon' uses the artist's eye to brighten this classic skate shoe. Released in June 2019, the canvas upper is painted with beautiful watermelons, a zoomed-in detail from one of the artist's lesser-known still lifes. The pinks and greens highlight subtle splashes of blue. The vulcanized midsole and white laces stand out against the bright colors.
