Originally released in 1917, the Converse All Star was given an updated 'Chuck Taylor' ankle patch when basketball star Charles H. Taylor helped popularize the shoe in 1921. The Chuck Taylor All Star Knee-Hi 'Charcoal Grey’ is a modern take on the classic. It features a dual-colored, Charcoal Grey and purple canvas upper with a foldover shaft and purple laces.
