New Balance and the Beauty & Youth label from clothing retailer United Arrows teamed up to create the CM1700By 'Beauty & Youth’ in 2013. The shoe's upper is made from a combination of smooth and textured leather and mesh in navy and tan. Embroidered New Balance branding is featured on the side panel. Underfoot, a detailed midsole offers cushioning, while a rubber outsole helps provide traction.
