The Converse All Star was first seen in 1917 and in 1921 a basketball player named Charles H. Taylor joined Converse’s sales force and was so successful that his name was added to the ankle patch. Released with the NBA x Converse collection, the Chuck Taylor All Star High Premium 'Utah Jazz’ features a canvas and mesh upper constructed from the Utah Jazz jerseys. Completing the look is a premium leather toe cap and thick rubber sole.
