Inspired by popular NBA franchises, Nike released a Blazer High Premium Pack taking color cues from teams like the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers. Launched in 2008 and designed by Bill Bowerman, the Nike Blazer High Premium features a smooth, suede upper in a Varsity Maize colorway with tonal laces and branding. Underfoot, textured Varsity Purple rubber sole completes the design.
