The Blacktop Battleground Pump—a basketball sneaker designed for outdoor play—first hit shelves in 1991. The shoe features a Pump P336 inflation system in the tongue, while the midsole includes Hexalite cushioning that gives way to a high-abrasion rubber outsole. The ‘Aztec’ colorway, part of the initial retro run of the shoe, harks back to the Battleground’s golden age with vintage patterns covering the white leather upper.
