The California 78 was introduced as the 'California' in recognition of the big jogging boom in the American state, a trend that influenced ASICS' home country of Japan. The ASICS California 78 Vintage riffs off of the heritage model with a retro-inspired design. Nylon covers the upper with tonal suede overlays, accented by contrast Tiger stripes. A reflective heel panel provides enhanced visibility in low lit areas, while a cushioned sole promotes comfort.
