Initially named ‘Tensile Air’ for its flexible, knitted tensile fibers, the Swoosh brand’s innovative Zoom Air engineering was first introduced in 1995. Created in honor of NBA legend Penny Hardaway, the 2004 release of the Air Zoom Adrenaline Penny sneaker expanded the technology. The shoe features a sleek mixed-media upper with translucent panels along the medial and lateral sides. The sneaker rests on Zoom Air cushioning.
