Air Trainer 1 'Mcenroe'

Legendary tennis player John McEnroe started wearing the Nike Air Trainer 1 in 1986. The Swoosh brand sent McEnroe a variety of shoes, thinking the AT1 would be a 'throwaway.' It turns out the three-quarter leather tennis shoe with an adjustable forefoot strap was exactly what the champion was looking for. Paying homage to the court icon, the 'McEnroe' AF1 rendition showcases a grey, black and white base with pops of green. Underfoot, a multi-directional tread pattern promotes flexible grip.
