Air Stab

The Air Stab 'Varsity Purple/Volt' is a retro running shoe designed for support. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and released in 1989, it features the visible Air Sole cushioning—a hot new tech at the time—in a stylish segmented presentation. But it's the series of leather overlays and support elements that define its visual aesthetic, including a wide midfoot overlay, a slimmer overlays surrounding the mesh toebox, and upper eyestays for a customized fit and feel.
