Featuring groundbreaking Air cushion design, the Air Tailwind shaped shoe technology for decades to come after its original release in 1978. As Nike Air technology progressed over the decades, so did the shoes that featured it. To celebrate 20 years of the classic silhouette, Nike revealed an updated edition of the Air Max Tailwind 4 in April 2019. The makeover showcases a White, Volt and Infrared colorway with understated Swoosh details.
