Air Max Plus 'La Requin Black'

In 1998, when asked to collaborate with Foot Locker to design the Air Max Plus, dubbed ‘Sky Air’ at the time, designer Sean McDowell was new to Nike. Without a template for the design, McDowell inadvertently modified the dimensions of the Swoosh logo, nudging the Air Max Plus into the realm of 'Nike classic.' The updated March 2019 Air Max Plus 'La Requin Black' features a black-on-black colorway.
