The Nike Air Max NM GS introduces gradeschool kids to the legend of Hideo Nomo with the OG 'Varsity Red' colorway of the MLB All-Star's signature shoe. First called the Air Nomo Max 1, the adult version of the sneaker came out in 1997 after the Japanese product wowed American fans with an NL Rookie of the Year Award in his first season and a no-hitter in his second. This sneaker features distinctive mesh 'teeth' around the upper and soft Max Air units under the foot.
