Air Max BW Premium

The Nike Air Max BW Premium was rolled out with a blocked, white-on-black colorway that flips the script on conventional athletic contrast. Originally released in 1991 as the Air Max IV, the original sneaker came equipped with extra cushioning in the collar, a molded upper eyestay, sharply angled design lines and a larger Max Air unit under the heel. It was informally called the 'big window' by Tinker Hatfield and his team, and the name stuck.
