Released late March 2019, the Air Max 95 Essential 'Wolf Grey' recreates the retro runner in smokey striations from dark down to a light base, signifying the emergence from winter into spring. This version of Nike designer Sergio Lozano's influential first contribution to the AM line highlights the anatomical inspiration with its gradient motif: white eyestay straps anchored at the midsole are covered by perpendicular leather layers, resembling the spine, ribs and connecting muscle.
