Tinker Hatfield's original Air Max 1 debuted in 1987. Three years later, the Air Max 90 hit the shelves, with fresh features like a larger visible Air unit window and a grooved forefoot. Released in 2016, the Nike Air Max 90 Ultra SE 'Night Maroon' offers a modern take on the heritage, with a maroon molded foam upper topped by overlays and a midfoot Swoosh.
