Air Max 90 Current

This take on the Nike Air Max 90 Current was designed by Britain's own Ben Drury to commemorate the summer Olympic games in Beijing. The Current revamps the Tinker Hatfield-designed runner from 1990 with contemporary tech updates from the brand, including a molded heel component designed to support the Achilles and a Nike Free sole. A checkered pattern on the lining adds interest to the shoe, while 'oh 8' graphics on the tongue and insole were included to reference the opening ceremony's date—08/08/08.
