The HUF x Nike Air Max 1 Premium ‘Hufquake’ dropped in 2006 as part of a sneaker pack commemorating the 100th anniversary of the devastating 1906 San Francisco earthquake. At the time, the collaboration was geographically resonant, as HUF operated two retail stores in San Francisco. The sneaker makes use of a black leather upper, featuring microperforated detailing on the toe box and a debossed crackle print on the midfoot and heel overlays. Lime green accents land on the woven tongue tag, patent leather Swoosh and embroidered Nike Air branding on the back heel.
