Air Max 1 'Work Blue'

The Air Max 1 'Work Blue' came out summer 2018 with a sky-inspired colorway consisting of leather, synthetics and breathable textile. In 1987, Nike designer—and former architect—Tinker Hatfield created the AM1 with insight from a visit to Centre Pompidou in Paris, a building with an inside-out motif that inspired the visible Air Sole cushioning unit. This version recreates the original's layered construction in azure tones with retro yellow hits underfoot.
