The Nike Air Max 1 provided the world with its first look at Nike's Air technology, revealing translucent cushioning at the heel thanks to sneaker visionary Tinker Hatfield. This Essential model mixes mesh, suede and leather for a premium feel across the upper. Grey tones with hits of Ultramarine and Solar Red details embellish the design. This colorway was one of several AM1 Essential sneakers that were released in Spring 2015.
