The Air Jordan CP3.IX 'Yellow Dragon' was released in 2015 as the ninth iteration of Chris Paul's signature shoe. The yellow and black colorway is meant to connect CP3's on-court agility with the dragon dance that's used to celebrate Chinese New Year, with black dragon scales and a partially obscured dragon insignia found on the heel. The nine-chamber Air system in the fore foot creates dynamic push-off, and a specially made outrigger system provides extra stability.
