The first AJ19 since 2008—when it was paired along with the AJIV as part of the 'Countdown Pack' to preview the release of the AJ23—the Air Jordan 19 'Elemental Gold' was made available in 2019 with an updated colorway. Originally hitting the market in 2004, the Air Jordan 19 was the first in the collection to be made after MJ's career had ended. Inspired by fencing, the distinctive Tech Flex shroud covers the laces for a futuristic look.
