Finished in a simple white and red colorway, this Air Jordan 17 is from the original 2002 production run. This is the model that Michael wore when he returned to the game as a Washington Wizard, and it packs performance benefits that were new to Jordan Brand at that time. They include Blow-Molded Air, a full-length shank plate and a TPU heel stabilizer. The overall design is inspired in part by jazz music, as seen on the musical notes inscribed on the removable midfoot cover. The kicks are packaged in a functional briefcase which is finished in a smooth red and chrome color.
