The premise for the Nike Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle 'Vachetta Tan' was wear over time. Similar to a baseball glove, the more someone wore it, the more the leather broke in and settled into a well-worn sneaker that conformed to your foot. The shoe also came with two sets of premium waxed laces in two different shades of tan and a dust bag.
