Considered the climax to Nike’s “Art of a Champion” series paying tribute to basketball champions, the June 2018 release of Nike’s Air Force 270 Gold Standard takes direct inspiration from the NBA Larry O’Brien championship trophy. The design layers a black upper, white midsole, and black heel with metallic gold details on the toe, side panels, and branding.
