The Nike Air Force 1 has grown into its legacy as a cultural icon since its 1982 debut as a hoops sneaker. The shoe was designed by Bruce Kilgore and was named for the aircraft designated for US presidential travel. A low-cut collar allows for flexibility through the ankle, while foam-encapsulated Air-Sole cushioning helps provide a responsive feel to each step. This edition has been customized using Nike's iD program.
