The Bruce Kilgore-designed Nike Air Force 1 emerged in 1982 as a performance basketball sneaker. This Mid SC ‘NYC’ edition surfaced in 1998, providing a city-themed update to the classic shoe. Cloaked in a black-based colorway, the shoe’s premium upper traces the original’s design lines, adding an embellished ankle strap to highlight the Big Apple. Air-Sole cushioning lends responsive comfort underfoot, finished with rubber tread.
