Initially produced in 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 pioneered a cross-cultural legacy with a name and aesthetic derived from the Presidential aircraft. This 'Metallic Zinc' version—introduced in January 2006—honors its heritage with a color block leather upper, a traditional lace closure and prominent Swooshes. Strategic perforation at the toe and midfoot enhances breathability. A sidewall call-out denotes the signature Air unit within the midsole.
