The Vans Aion Lx works archival and contemporary motifs into a unique material story. Issued in Spring 2009, this 'Black' version matures the iconic checkerboard pattern with a full tonal canvas and suede upper. Metal eyelets and a textured leather collar add dimension while a skull logo adorning the tongue gives the look an edge. Modernized by its contrast toe bumper, the vulcanized rubber sole rides atop a classic waffle tread design.
