Created for various modes of play, New Balance's 996 Kids Wide sneaker carries the DNA of the 1988 running icon. This edition—emerging in July 2019—is designed with a blue mesh and nubuck upper with a hook-and-loop strap and elastic laces. 'N' patches on the sides and branding on the tongue and heel shine in metallic silver. While the foam midsole supplies cushioning, its solid rubber outsole offers stabilization.
