Released in February 2019, the 991.9 'Light Tidepool' debuted as one of three sneakers in New Balance’s Made in the UK pack, included in their Made 9 series. Dressed in a vibrant retro colorway, the paneled suede overlays with breathable mesh inserts are reminiscent of the classic 991 upper. Sitting underfoot, the shoe is equipped with durable ENCAP midsole cushioning, a nod to the OG 990v3 silhouette.
